I’m Shalonda, a NYC native currently based in North Carolina, and a proud cosmetology student with a growing passion for all things beauty. What started as my love for lashing has grown into the launch of my very own cosmetic line—Glammed Wit Cakey Cosmetics.
I specialize in lash extensions and cluster lash artistry, and I recently introduced my first signature product: the GWC Signature Cluster Kit. This kit represents everything I stand for—confidence, creativity, and enhancing beauty in a way that feels effortless. I’ll also be releasing seasonal themed kits, so my clients and supporters can enjoy fresh, fun looks throughout the year.
This is just the beginning. Soon, I’ll be expanding my line to include:

My journey into cosmetology started from a deeply personal place. Growing up with low self-esteem, beauty became my outlet—my way of discovering my voice, confidence, and identity. Through this industry, I not only transform others, but I found healing and empowerment within myself. Now, I strive to help women feel beautiful, powerful, and seen.
As a student at Aveda Institute, I’ve fallen in love with both color services and lash artistry, and I pour that same passion into every service, every kit, and every product I create.
